Installation standards and quality assurance measures

2026-06-08

The installation quality of Metal Strut Channel directly affects the stability and safety of building structures, and must strictly follow the principles of "accurate positioning, standardized connection, and comprehensive acceptance". Before installation, it is necessary to make preliminary preparations, clean the installation base, check the specifications, quantity, and surface quality of the Metal Strut Channel, and prepare specialized connectors, fasteners, and measuring tools. The installation of the bracket is the foundation, and the bracket needs to be fixed according to the design spacing, usually 1.5-2.5m. The horizontal error of the bracket should be ≤ 3mm/m, and the vertical error should be ≤ 2mm/m to ensure that the support is firm.

When installing the Metal Strut Channel, it is fixed to the bracket by bolt connection or welding. High strength bolts are selected, and the tightening torque is generally 45-60N · m according to the design requirements to avoid loosening; Gas shielded welding is used for welding, and the weld seam is full without virtual welding. After welding, welding slag is promptly removed and anti-corrosion treatment is carried out. Real time measurement and adjustment are required during the installation process to ensure that the straightness error of the Metal Strut Channel is ≤ 5mm/10m, and the gap between adjacent C-shaped steels is ≤ 2mm. After installation, a comprehensive acceptance is carried out, including dimensional deviation, connection firmness, integrity of anti-corrosion coating, and other indicators. Only after passing the acceptance can the next process be carried out. In addition, regular inspections are required in the later stage to promptly address issues such as coating damage and bolt loosening, ensuring the long-term stable operation of the structure.
